Here's a view of the center vent trap door without the das installed. This is the culprit that sounds like a .22 caliber gun being fired when it decides to unstick itself when adjustinng them to flow for VENT or AC. What happens is the adhesive from the gasket seeps out over time and eventually tries to glue the trap door shut. What I did was clean out both surfaces really good and then applied white grease on both sealing surfaces.
