Making Lowering dogbones

Here are the numbers that I calculated when I made my custom dogbone suspension relay bars. These measurements are in addition to the stock center to center dimension of 5.50"

  • I used 304 stainless for my new dogbones.
  • Stock dimensions LxWxD: 6.6875" x 1.1875" x .25"
  • Hole Diameter: 12mm (.50 drill will work if you don't have metric)
  • Center to Center: 5.50" (140mm)
  • The addition of the dimensions below will give you the amount of drop. Basically for every 1/16" (.0625") added to the 5.50" of Center to Center distance, you will achieve a 3/16" (.1875") drop in ride height.
