Here's pix of the DG Hard Krome Xcellerator pipes that I installed to replace the custom fabricated Thunder Header pipes. I'm really happy with the performance of the pipes, although they are noticably louder than the Thunder Headers at cruising speeds. The Bark when cracking open the throttle DEEP and menacing sounding.. :-) The sound at idle is more lumpy, which may be a result of the equal length header design. Very good fit and finish.

It took just under an hour to remove the Thunder header and install the Xcellerator. Time included cleaning pipes, taking pix, and also cleaning behind where the old exhaust was. All in all I'm VERY happy with the investment.

Here's the bottom T-clamp. This view is taken from the bottom of the bike. Top of the picture is the front of the bike. The T-clamp allen head is facing the down towards the ground.
